Shipping & Delivery Policy
Megharsh Soft LLP provides software consultation and development services (web, mobile apps, and custom software). This policy explains how we deliver completed work, handle deliveries for physical items (if any), and manage third-party deliverables.
1. Digital Delivery (Software Projects)
Most of our deliverables are digital: source code, compiled applications, deployment scripts, documentation, and assets. Delivery methods include:
- Private Git repositories (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) or repository transfers.
- File transfers via secure links (S3, Google Drive, etc.).
- Deployment to client environments (staging/production) as agreed in the contract.
- Installer packages or app store submissions for mobile applications where applicable.
2. Physical Goods
We rarely ship physical goods. If a project includes physical deliverables (hardware, printed manuals, or other items), shipping terms (costs, carrier, insurance, and delivery timelines) will be specified in the proposal or contract. Any shipping charges may be billed to the client unless otherwise agreed.
3. Deployment & Handover
Deployment and handover steps are defined in the statement of work. Typical handover steps include:
- Providing repository access and credentials.
- Executing deployment to the agreed environment.
- Delivering technical documentation and a short handover session or walkthrough.
- Transferring relevant licenses and accounts where applicable.
4. Delivery Timeline
Delivery timelines depend on the project scope and are set in the contract or project plan. We will notify clients of any changes to timelines and work with them to agree on new delivery dates.
5. Acceptance & Testing
Clients typically have an acceptance period to test deliverables. Acceptance criteria and defects handling will be specified in the contract. Minor changes during acceptance are handled as part of the agreed testing/fix period; substantial changes may require a change order.
6. Third-Party Deliverables
Third-party items (themes, plugins, libraries, APIs, or hosted services) may be required for projects. We will identify such items in the proposal. Costs, license terms, and delivery timelines for third-party items are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
7. Security & Confidentiality
When sharing deliverables, we use secure methods and follow best practices to protect code and data. Access credentials are transferred securely and should be rotated by the client after handover.
8. Lost or Damaged Physical Shipments
For any rare physical shipments, Megharsh Soft LLP will work with the chosen carrier to resolve lost or damaged items. Claims follow the carrier’s procedures; liability will be handled as described in the contract and subject to any insurance purchased for the shipment.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Major changes that affect the way we deliver active projects will be communicated to impacted clients.
